Cosmo’s Gripit XT gets extreme desert debut in Peru

ICA, Peru — At the geometrically perfect apex of a towering sand dune in the middle of the Peruvian desert, the setting sun added dark shadows to the tiny lines the wind had spent all day drawing in the sand. Like turning off a switch, when the sun set, dunes in the distance disappeared one by one until there was nothing.
And then the music started.
At the bottom of the dune, lights were strung across a makeshift dance floor as dinner was served, and a huge Cosmo graphic was projected on the side of a dune. (There were also fireworks.)
The Cosmo Gripit XT is an extreme terrain tire designed off-roading, including sand and mud, while also maintaining low noise for highway driving.
