It’s been a little over a year since the merger of TGI and Avaun. Once a firm plan was in place and the wheels of the merger had begun to turn, one of the things that excited me the most was the opportunity to work with the most talented team in the tire industry. I’ve always believed that surrounding yourself with those who are better than you is the best way to grow professionally, and the last 14 months have been a testament to that.
Looking back at the work we’ve done, obstacles we’ve overcome, and what we’ve achieved, it’s pretty amazing. Bringing two more DCs online, expanding Cosmo’s market share and lifestyle branding, strengthening our supply chain, growing our sales team and leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency are just some of the great things we’ve accomplished. It’s not always going to be rainbows and unicorns in the trenches as we claw our way to the top but having an incredibly talented team that is dedicated to excellence and has an unwavering determination to help TGI reach its full potential is something that I am extremely proud to be a part of.
With Q4 in full swing, we have a great opportunity to finish 2025 in strong fashion. From tariffs to economic uncertainty we have weathered yet another industry storm and positioned ourselves to end the year on a positive note. Let’s keep our eye on the prize and make all the effort we’ve put into this year count!
In closing, the holiday season upon us once again, it’s around this time we often reflect back to appreciate the things that are most important in our lives and give thanks for what we have. In that spirit, I wanted to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to the TGI family for their leadership, dedication, the sacrifices you’ve made, and the love you’ve shown me since joining the family. The willingness to teach, help with a smile, and genuinely care for others is a testament to the culture that makes TGI and its team the best of the best.
