More than 5K attend Cosmo Tires’ Kool Kat Ambush

MIAMI — More than 750 cars were on display for a crowd that topped 5,000 at the fourth annual Cosmo Tires’ Kool Kat Ambush, presented by Tire Group International (TGI).
TGI said more than 300 cars were turned away due to capacity for the car show — and lifestyle event, held at Miami’s Tropical Park.
The event featured live music by Miami artists, live graffiti art on trucks, custom T-shirt printing and 18 trophy categories.
Luis Da Silva Jr. (Fast & Furious Five and X) was among those on hand, as well as local podcasters Stay Tranquilo.
Cars on display ranked in age from 1930s classics to 1970s legends, alongside exotics, JDM builds, low riders, donks and slabs.
“We’re incredibly grateful to be able to give back to our hometown,” Tony Gonzalez, founder and CEO of Cosmo Tires, said. The event “is about families, about passing the culture down, about seeing generations connect through the cars they love. Cosmo Tires has always stood for more than just tires — we’re a lifestyle brand, and this event brought that to life in a real way. The energy, the turnout, the support — it exceeded everything we could have imagined.”
